SUMMARY

• Optimization and administration of electronic health record systems. Participating in the safe and efficient design of the EHR rollout plan; predominantly in overseas government sponsored initiatives.
• Provide technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the affiliate-wide information technology program.
• Lead the health care implementation team in design, planning, and implementing enterprise information systems to support both distributed and centralized clinical operations and achieve more effective and cost-beneficial enterprise wide IT operations in the health care delivery system.
• Directing health information management services across the health system, striving for compliance and promoting best practices and education in all areas related to health care delivery, documentation, and legal health record to include:
  • Quick access to patient records from inpatient and remote locations for more coordinated, efficient care.
  • Enhanced decision support, clinical alerts, reminders, and medical information.
  • Performance-improving tools, real-time quality reporting.
  • Legible, complete documentation that facilitates accurate coding and billing.
  • Interfaces with labs, registries, and other EHRs.
  • Safer, more reliable prescribing.
  • Standardization of data, order sets, and care plans helping to implement common treatment of patients using evidence based medicine.
  • Population management trended data and treatment and outcome studies.
  • More convenient, faster, and simpler disease management.

• Provide experienced and expert analysis of health care delivery systems to customized patient-centric strategies and programs that are designed to help healthcare leaders achieve sustainable, market-leading results in quality, access, cost, and patient and staff satisfaction.

• Evaluate health care delivery systems current practices and  provide leadership level consulting to drive the adoption of a multitude of clinical applications and diagnostic systems.

• Collaborate with physicians and support staff to execute an implementation plan custom designed based on industry best-practices. Focus on integrating with existing clinical workflows wherever possible to increase adoption and a seamless transition that includes but not limited to:
